How does the client inventory API connection work?+
Clients connect their inventory system via a REST API endpoint they provide. Stockwise uses a generic adapter that maps their JSON fields to our standard stock position model — we configure field mapping during onboarding. The client provides an API key and endpoint URL. No code changes needed on their side in most cases. We support JSON and XML REST APIs out of the box.
What stops the AI from inventing prices or making incorrect claims?+
Every claim in every AI-generated message is validated against the grounding store before it is queued or sent. Our guardrail engine checks prices against the exact figure in your inventory system, stock quantities against the live position, and delivery times against product lead times. If any claim doesn't match — even by a rounding difference — the action is blocked and logged. The AI is only allowed to state what the source data explicitly says.
Do my clients know the outreach is AI-generated?+
Yes — by design and non-negotiably. Every message sent by Stockwise AI includes a clear disclosure that it is AI-generated. This is a core product principle. In our pilots, transparency has consistently increased rather than reduced response rates — clients engage more directly when they know they're talking to an AI.
What happens when a conversation becomes complex or sensitive?+
The agent handles routine, structured outreach only — restock reminders, qualification, appointment setting, and follow-ups. Any conversation involving pricing exceptions, contract terms, negotiations, or complaints is automatically escalated to a human sales rep. Escalation triggers are configurable per account type.
How long does onboarding take?+
For the 60-day pilot, onboarding takes 1–2 weeks. The main steps are: Salesforce connection and data sync (1–2 days), client API connections (1 day per client), and SKU mapping verification (1–3 days depending on catalog size). We handle setup with you and don't consider the pilot started until live data is flowing and at least one verified SKU mapping is in place.
Is our data secure and isolated from other customers?+
Yes. Stockwise uses row-level database isolation — your tenant data is logically separated from all other customers at the database level. Client API keys are encrypted at rest. All connections use TLS. We run on AWS with SOC 2-aligned practices. An enterprise security review pack is available on request.
